The micrometer head is a device that is generally mounted on the manual stage, and moves 0.5mm per rotation and can be adjusted at a minimum of 0.01mm (10㎛) increments. There is an external and internal thimble and the point where the main scale and the vernier scale crosses are read. Depending on the type, there are R-type or Flat-type edges and depending on the attachment method, there is the general insert method and nut fastening type.
